Join us for an informational and fun-filled 2 hour mixology class in Puerto Vallarta where you'll dive into the rich history of cocktail making, with a special focus on the coastal region of Jalisco. Cocktail Making Class Itinerary
6:15 PM – 6:30 PM
We’ll begin the evening by gathering in our welcome room
where you’ll get a feel for the space and hear the impetus behind Osto Room—its name, design, and inspiration. We’ll also walk you through what to expect during the experience including the cocktail techniques you’ll be learning. And of course, we’ll toast the start of the experience with a welcome shot of Raicilla, a unique local distillate from the Jalisco coast.
6:30 PM - 8 PM
We then continue to our great room where our class will be held
Next, we’ll move into our candle-lit, great room where our hands-on, immersive experience begins. Your host will introduce the tools laid out in front of you and guide you through the creation of your first cocktail (one of three). Throughout the class, you'll learn three essential techniques: shaking, stirring, and muddling—everything you need to confidently mix drinks at your next dinner party.
Between cocktails, we’ll enjoy some distinctive local snacks, get to know each other a bit more, and answer any questions you might have—whether about cocktails, Puerto Vallarta, or Mexico in general. This is a fun, laid-back space where everyone is welcome and the drinks definitely help keep the vibes flowing (don’t forget to hydrate before the class and come sober)!
To wrap things up, we’ll send you home with a recap of everything you’ve learned, including the recipes for the cocktails we made and a few of our personal favorites.

Born in Japan, raised in England and France (he’s British!) is the ultimate Puerto Vallarta Expat, opening 2 of the most lauded cocktail bars in PV as well as a brand new smash burger restaurant, Wammy Burger, right below Osto Room (with Jeremy of course!). Alex is trilingual in English, French, and Spanish.

Born and raised in Seattle, Alexa has spent extensive time in France, Washington DC, and almost a decade in Puerto Vallarta. Her passion for travel, language, and culture has culminated in extensive expertise in mixology and Mexican spirits. She brings 19 years of food and beverage industry experience to the Osto Team. She is an expert in agave spirits, cocktail making and also trilingual in English, French, and Spanish.

How Often Are Experiences Offered?
We are available every day of the week with at least 2 days notice.
What is the minimum amount of people needed to reserve?
2 minimum, 10 max. If there is another class being held that isn’t reserving the space for a private experience, individuals may join.
